It's finally happened and I purchased my fourth car. Kind of wierd since my first three were Supras. (85, 89 then 91) But I stayed in the toyota family. I figured I'd upload some pics of the celica to share with this great community.
This car cant touch my supra with a ten foot pole performance wise but my needs in a car has changed since then and I don't have any plans to tune this car but just have it for show. If this keeps up the next car I'd want is four doors for room >.<.
The supra is sadly sold and the for sale thread closed a little earlier. Good news is that it went to a lil rich kid that wants to drop a jz engine into it, so he is basically going to finish what i started. Since my car had all the support mods on it, he is pretty much set after the engine swap. He also added my number to send me pictures of the project.
But enough chat, here is the celica, the 6 speed gts was out my league so I settled for this GT that came factory with the TRD kit which I'm a sucker for. The previous owner done some little work (rims, tints, guards, tails) but nothing major, runs smooth, both engine and the 5 speed.
As for the community, I won't be going anywhere, there is still three supras left in my family (two mk3s and one mk4) so I'm sure to stick around, besides they would want parts and what better place than here? =D
