Well heres a lil update on what I've been doing still keeping an eye out for another Mk3 but came across this car instead.
A 1987 325ES (Economy Sport)
She Started out like this
Tucked in the US diving board bumpers, Smoked out the sealed beams and cut the springs and installed e36 seats.
Caught a flat a one of the bottle caps found these wheels for 60 bucks with tires. painted them purple just for the hell of it the finish on the wheels before were terrible.
And this is how she sits now.
I found an stock oem ES valence found it on craigslist.
Cosmo racing coils 8k for the front and 10k for the rear matted with some cheapy KYBS (rides a million times better then blown stock cut suspension lol)
And I got some used Konigs remembers 16x7 + 20 it was too good of deal to pass up on.
Got rid of the sealed beams and got some h1 headlights from a later model e30 in the pull it yard.
Future Plans
She needs paint, so that will be done in the near future.
Shopping around for some HIDS
I have an m20b25 swap from an e34 525i I plan on swapping in once I get my income tax check and I have completed every once of maintenance on the motor.
I plan on building my 2.7 bottom end with forged internals for 2.7i turbo setup that probably wont be completed till sometime next year.
Also when ever these kybs take a shit, next suspension setup will be a real adjustable coil over system.
Also going to be in the market for a euro m-tech 1 sides and rear I found a euro market e30 in the junk yard with the good looking small bumpers on it. $400 bumpers I scored for 90 bucks.
I do plan on getting another Mk3 I've just been really picky, must be a late sport model with the round mounts of course. Since I do plan on going 2jz the next time around.
