Ok, so the supra I picked up I got a new thermostat in and I got the starter in. Now there is that milky residue on the oil cap, but the oil on the dipstick looks fine. The guy before me had the head resurfaced he said and put back togeter. The old gasket and stud boxes were in the car when I bought it. I am wondering how to get the valve cover off to see if I can retorque it. I think the gasket might be good and it didn't seal properly? There are bubbles in the overflow bottle and I do get a code 52 Knock sensor if I rev it up passed a certain point. I take it this is a knock caused by the combustion of water and antifreeze in the engine? My buddy said I should have a full diagnostics done on it, but I am not financially graced. If someone could point me to a detailed guide on how to disassemble it to get to the studs and retorque them. I would be very grateful.

ok so I really think it might be the EGR cooking plate. I got quite a bit of condensation out my exhaust, but not a lot of white smoke. I will go get the tools as soon as I figure out what I need. I lack a BGB from toyota so if anyone has manual pages they could scan and email me or send me a link too. I would appreciate it, if my head gasket is already showing signs of leaking even though it was replaced is it a waste of time to retorque it? I found a small parallelogram shaped gasket in the trunk, does the egr cooling plate look like this? I think coolant is getting into the combustion chamber to cause the knock though...

Do you hear a bubbling noise from behind the dash after you've driven hard? What do you mean bubbles? Is your overflow foamy, or is it like... gushing coolant? Milky oil filler and steam from exhaust sounds like BHG to me...

What else did the PO say he did? I would make sure you've actually got ARP's and the new gasket is torqued properly., if you find that your car doesn't, you should make sure he didn't lie about anything else. The PO of my car told me he had done a mhhg and arp studs, Wiseco pistons and some more shit, but when the HG blew ( three days after i bought the car, go figure) I checked it out and found a totally stock 7m with a Toyota factory gasket. Some people are grimy, bro. :/ If he followed the factory torque specs, changing the gasket would only have done so much good anyways, because they're...well... wrong.
