Its about time for another oil change and i do not know which oil to go with. I usually go with mobil 1 15w-50 but now everywhere i go only has 5w-50, what difference will going with the 5w-50 make? Is it too thin. I have also read that rotella 15w-50 is good and cheap which sounds good to me but i have also read that it is not good. Any input on the subject would be awesome. Thanks guys.

I ran M1 15w50.
I'm getting ready to change the oil on my subaru, and I'm going with Mobil Delvac1 5w40.
5w50 should be fine.
Remember: The first number is the viscosity at 32f. The 2nd number is the viscosity at 212f.
