Not giving up on you entirely on an uncertainty, but another issue (for a few of us anyway) is that finding 18" tires in a 315+ is kinda difficult...

First kit is on my car for testing. They feel good although just bedding them in. As you can see the calipers are raw un-powder coated but the finished parts will be!

17's are a no go with this kit. Just too big. I am working on a 6 piston kit which has a lower profile caliper so we will see with that kit, but 13.5" is a big rotor!!!

Seth

That's too bad, but definitely seems like a good option for those with 18's or bigger! :)

Perhaps I missed something, but is this a 4 piston caliper with a larger body than the 6 piston? I mean, if you could somehow manage to squeeze in a 6 piston and 13.5" rotor under a 17" wheel and have enough clearance to function, you'd be onto something here...

The 6 pistons are a racing part which means they are machined out of a billet block and very slimmed down. The 4 piston calipers currently on the kit are a typical cast caliper which they add a good bit of beef to which makes them tall. Also the pads are actually shorter height wise on the 6 piston calipers but longer optimizing more of the surface area on the rotor!

And for the last time, THE FINAL DETAILS OF THE KIT WILL BE RELEASED WHEN THE KIT IS FINALIZED!!!. Although what the calipers are really doesn't matter because they have to go in the CNC and be machined down in order to fit anyways! But they are a Lexus part, so still in the Toyota family!!
