You need a long bolt that just fits in the bearing center hole.
Once that is in, squeeze in as many small nails as you can. Then, use a small hose clamp to secure them all together.
The chain is the slide hammer part. I actually put a long metal rod in there, and the bearing popped out on the first try.

That Motor looks almost exactly like mine, black block & pan, raw aluminum head and soon my engine bay will look very similar as well!
You are way ahead of me and much better funded though! That car is hot as hell, I can only hope mine will look that nice when I'm finished (if being finished is even possible)
