There is a similar joke:

"Now that Michael Jackson is dead, they are going to melt him down and make him a Nintendo Wii. That way children can still turn him on"

Autopsy results are in, he got a small bone stuck in his throat.

These are both from today:

Fox News said:
The autopsy began at 11 a.m. EDT, though results were not likely to be final until toxicology tests could be completed.
The process could take up to six to eight weeks, Ed Winter, L.A. County Assistant Chief Coroner told reporters Friday morning.
However, if a cause can be determined by the autopsy, they will announce the results, said Los Angeles County Coroner Investigator Jerry McKibben.
There has been speculation that drugs may have played a role in the death of the icon, with TMZ citing sources who claim he was given a "heavy dose of morphine" before his death. Other reports claim that Jackson received a shot of Demerol — a similar narcotic— shortly before his death.
Brian Oxman, a former attorney of Jackson's and a family friend, said he was concerned about Jackson's use of painkillers and he warned the singer's family about possible abuse.

Washington Post said:
Cause of Death in Jackson Case at Least One Week Away: Autopsy Performed on 'King of Pop'; Results of Toxicology, Other Tests Awaited
Even as Michael Jackson's musical genius fills airwaves nonstop and fans mourn around the world, Los Angeles authorities today began the grim business of learning how the pop singer died, at 50, as he was about to embark on a grueling and lucrative comeback tour.
The county coroner began an autopsy on the singer's body, which an official there said would take several hours. A cause of death is not likely today, said Lt. Brian Elias of the LA County Coroner's Office Investigations division, and might not be made public for a week or more, pending the results of toxicology and other tests.

Sounds to me like someone's jumping the gun.

He was a very talented man. Regardless of the other aspects of his life, he left the world with music that will never be forgotten.
