You know, for what it's worth, a good driver behind the wheel of an LS1 F-body is a thing to behold. I have yet to lose a race in my 01 SS, but it's a 6 speed and I know how to use the thing. That said, I can't stand the POS car that it happens to be bolted into...

ss 6spd thats a monster right there......

It can get out of it's way alright, that's for sure. If for some reason I can't get rid of it within a year, it's gonna be boosted with scraps around the shop. :)

I had a 2000 Trans Am for a while.

I had a catback exhaust, an aftermarket airbox lid, a MAF translator and a 100 shot dry kit coming on with a MSD window switch at 3000 rpm and cutting off at 5800 rpm. With those simple mods, here is what you're up against:

It's not just the peak power, it's the area under the curve. Add to that a live axle rear and you've got a tough race ahead of you.

You beat me? I know it was pretty damn close, I thought we kinda had to let off at some rather illegal numbers?

Na I let off the gas then threw my hands up in the air at you then pulled on you again remember :p.
That's right... you were mocking me haha. Good times man, I rather miss the 60. The nearest 3 lane (in one direction) road is 90 miles away...

I have always said if i went domestic it would be a T/A. Had a friend that was running 12 flat with simple mods, And it was like that for so long he got bored of it..lol I dont think a supra will run long enough for us to get bored of them.

Yeah, we made for pretty kick ass roommates. I wonder how much HP there was collectively at that house on occasion haha! 1500?

With a domestic, go old (pre-1970) or GTFO. Or just put up with having a POS car that may or may not have a decent engine in it... I've regretted buying that SS for the last 2 years now. If you only KNEW the 2 cars I'd be sitting on right now if I hadn't bought the SS *face palms*
