lol...my car hates me

im tellin u right now, this is a stupid post but i need help. the other day i tried to get access to my ecu and the damn glove box is stuck shut. i put the key in the lock, it turns, but the latch is froze. i even unbolted the hinges on the bottom thinkin i could wriggle it enough to jar it free but it wasn't happenin. the interior is in great shape and i really dont want to jack up the glove box or the dash. anybody have suggestions????? god.......this is so damn stupid, one dumb thing after the next. lol.

Put the key in the glove box and turn all the way to the right, then all the way left? Can't remember.

ive done that and the lock turns very freely, its just that the latch is stuck

I dont think theres much you can do.

If you have skinny arms like me you could try reaching up behind the box with a screw driver and popping the clip up (while holding the buttons down to be safe).

....Or just take out the whole dash and work something from there.

ive tried reaching behind but apparently im a real fatass. i might try to pry it open enough to chizel the loop and break it. im just worried about bangin up the dash.
