lock bezel

Have a pass side lock "surround"...two metal clips on it.Can't get it to hold in the slots in the door.Doing something wrong?Need to spread the clips?

The clips are probably broke. Everyone breaks the clips the first time. There is a certain way those bezels have to be removed to avoid breaking them.

I used a dab of gorilla glue or super glue. Enough to keep them on, but can "break" the grip with a screwdriver if you need to take them off.

Used to be able to buy the clips separately from Toyota for a buck. Not sure if they are discontinued now.

is it just the little back facing tab that holds it in?....both clips have the tab...

I had ordered some of the clips from Toyota just a few months ago. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291420/catalog.aspx?F=6703&P=1 I got the one on the bottom right, 90468-04126 for my 92.
