My 1jz swap is finaly geting started. The 1j was pulled from the clip. I took the coilpack cover off and took it to a shop in town that does liquid chroming. Anything plastic can be chromed. In a couple days the cover was done. What do you think???? It can also be tinted in any color.

thanks. liquid chroming a fairly new process not too many places have it. It was 70 bucks. it still fits perfect. and now i am going to get the timing cover done as well. Maybe if any of you want it done send it in to me and we can work something out. It can be tinted blue, red, or green.

I'm not a chrome person, but if I was I'd have the valve covers powdercoated black and have a black/chrome theme.

That's look awesome with a huge polished turbo next to it, and a ffim (also polished) on the other side.

Pretty cool stuff.
