Rodel, I ran Polk db6501's in the front of mine, with KevinM brackets. Going to be running some Focal speakers I picked up off a friend a long time ago.

Have Infinity Reference of some sort (I wanna say 6x8, or perhaps 6.5", it's been a few years) in Megan's Mazda3, they sound fantastic. I could figure out the exact model if you're interested, just PM me.

I put 5-1/4" speakers in the factory boxes. The factory boxes are ported bass boxes. I showed it to an audio specialist I know, and he told me that if I put 5-1/4" speakers in and seal it up good, the sound would be phenomenal. He wasn't kidding! I saw how much open space I had with the 4" speakers, and the 5-1/4" would fit better. But, there was still too much open space under the speakers for a solid seal to work. I got the idea to fill in the recess for the original 5" speakers to fit the 5-1/4" to the top of the box. I figured there was enough space between the finish panel and the speaker box to allow the speakers to be flush mounted, and I was right. The sealed boxes provide great bass response and the music has never sounded better. Here's the link to the photos I took: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk6Edd95

Good work on the rears. What do you have for the head unit, front speakers, subs, and amps?w

My front speakers are some 4" generics that have been there for 10 years, but still sound good. I'm talking to my audio man about replacing them with 4" same make as the rears. I'm not running an amp right now. My head unit is a Pioneer FH-X700BT. I got it mainly for the Bluetooth connectivity. I mounted the mic on the map light cover and ran the wire under the headliner, down under the A-pillar cover, and under the dash to the headunit. All you can see is a short piece of wire disappearing at the rearview mirror mount.

i have a set of alpine type r 6.5 components in the doors with 6.5 brackets and mounted the tweeters right next to the speaker inside the door on the 6.5 mount. so looking at the speaker, the tweeter is on the top left corner of it. looks pretty trick... installed a fosgate prime 300.4 amp in the spare tire well and ran new 10 gauge knukonceptz wire. then put in a set of 4" type s coaxials in the rear hooked to the amp... then installed a alpine type r 12 in ported box in trunk with bd1000 Rockford pretty clean setup. head unit is a pioneer Bluetooth double din dvd

I order 90% of my audio stuff from sonicelectronix.com. im debating taking out my 6.5 door speakers and making a fiberglass enclosure in the doors. I think they should be sealed so that I can get more bass from them. ill get some pics of my 92 celica I did a lot of audio work on. that one I have a 185 amp ambulance alternator with 0 gauge wire. ive swapped so many different subwoofer setups between cars. my favorite sub ive had is my digital designs 10. 2100 watts rms. thing rocks

Installed a Pioneer AVIC 6100NEX with CarPlay, Nav, and rear-view cam. A lot of wires to make it all work. I've run the wiring for the backup cam and subwoofer, but the camera and sub will be installed in Phase 2. Took me a week of working on it in the evenings to get this all done.

So many wires behind the HU.

Fits with no cutting to the Bezel (The AVIC 7100 and 8100 have larger screens and would need the bezel trimmed back).

For the GPS antenna, I siliconed it to the bottom of the dash near the ECU. It looks up through the windshield and works well and is of course completely invisible. I have very good signal strength with this setup.

Looks really good 3p. Double Din touch screen is the way to go looks wise I think in the MK3. I'm thinking about running a small amp for the speakers in my Supra eventually. They need more power and I'm much happier with the aftermarket speakers in my 4Runner that are amped.

I was prepared to be unhappy with the HU internal amp so I wired the preamp outs into the factory harness for the under-seat amp. But, I was amazed at the performance of the HU internal amp. Once I ran the auto-equalizer with the mic placed at the drivers seat headrest to set the frequency and time delay response, the sound is better than I've ever heard in a Supra. This is with 6.5 inch components in the front and 5" components in the back. I've already got the sub setup ordered, otherwise I might have skipped it given how good it sounds already.

The plan is to add a "600 Watt" Kenwood sub amp and use a modified Nissan spare tire subwoofer to make an invisible sub. I'll see if it makes any real difference.

Running SPS 610C and 610 coax's.

Components are in the front with 91 pods. I 3d printed a test pod for the tweeter which fits on the little triangle.. Seems to work great, just need to make another. I then installed the Coax speakers in the C7 fiberglass pod for the rear panels. I am running 4"'s in the stock rear speaker locations, powered by the HU.

The Alpines are powered by a Rockford fosgate 300W mini digital amp that is nice and tiny.

I've got an all in one 8" sub, but it's not powerful enough. I need to install the compact shallow 10" pioneer I have, and it should give the car the bass it's lacking.

I just wish I could get bass out of the 6.5's. Even factory cars with no sub have wayyy more bass, I don't know why every speaker I've ever sued in the supra never has bass.

My feelings exactly until I ran Pioneer's autoEQ with the mic at the driver's headrest. Finally it sounded decent. It seems the time-alignment helps a lot.

I've added the Nissan subwoofer with a Kenwood KAC-M3001 amp which is also very small 5-11/16 X 1-3/4 X 3-7/8 in and has the same total power. The R-F PBR300X4 is 1.53 x 4.25 x 6.75 (in.) so almost the same size. The sub is not adding much to the experience, but the ultra low end is a little stronger.
