Long Story short ,BHG 7M-GTE - $7000+ in unsuccessful 7M build ,beign able to recover some of it and don’t really want to talk about it…

The JZA-70 Engine looked great from outside:

But inside it was a mess:

Luckily the Front Sump engine was much better inside so I swaped the pans ,and was good to go.

Some Misc Parts pics.

1. No wonder why Group-A supras were using totally different Hot Side for their version of the CT-26... (CT26 57trim ,next to GT35R):

As of todayZ date ,the car is running great. Rough mapping with the Safc was compleated ,but I do not feel quite ready to run it at 1barr (TiAL default sring) thus I'll wait to get a 0.6barr Spring from ATP tomorrow:)

Idle was set at 1000 to 1100.

IDL signal to be adjusted (found that IDL wire was somehow grounded in the harness ,what a pain to debug...)

So, did you relocate the battery due to necessity for the IC piping, or just ran the piping there because you had moved the battery?

I reloced the battery 2 years ago ,after my very first AutoX disappointment;) using summit Battery Reloc kit ,and later upgraded to Odyssey PC 925.

I kind of doubt that 2.5" cold Site piping is possible without Battery Relocation ,especially when the BOV is right before the Trottle Body...

Lol 3"+BOV :)

SPAL Dual 11" Fans on a PWR Radiator.

The Clearance to the Water Pump pulley studs is wayy to liitle righ now - <1 inch... I have to trim the SPAL shroud a bit more although with the 98TT motor mounts and new Toyota tranny mount the engine play is almost non existent ,possibly because the tyranny mount is super stretched towards the engine - guess the JZA70 bell housing was a little to short or something...

The tranny mount is really weird ,it has to be the "new" bell housing - because the engine seats perfectly. I even tried with the original JZA 70 Motor Mounts just to be sure that I was doing noThing wrong...

The tranny's mount center bolt is super stretched and the 4 bolts holding the bracket to the tranny-tunel are maxed out toward the engine ,there is good 1 to 1.5inch of lost noise space due to that - PWR even with "ultra" low profie SPAL electric fans will be a tight fit. I will grind the shroud as much as possible ,cut and rethread the water pump studs and report the clearance as soon as I measure it.

take a pic or i can so we can compare lol ;) it sounds similar to how mine sits

Here is what it looks like on mine:

The engine seats properly ,but it is easy to tell even by just looking at the tail of the tranny to the driveshaft - tranny is nearly 1 inch further forward than what it is suppose to be. I would guess that since I've used new bell housing from Toyota ,it must've been defective (a little too short).
