Kung Fu Hustle April 8 NY/LA April 22 nationwide

Hey guys,

It is set to release in the US on april 8 in NY/LA and April 22 the rest of the US. Of course Asia has had it since last year

I just recieved the region 3 DVD of this movie and all i will say is that it is a must see especially for you action flick buffs.

The movie has lots of CGi. Some of it needs polishing but some is outstanding. There are alot of tributes (matrix, road runner, bruce lee) to some older kung fu and movies in general

all in all the first real fight scene is some good stuff (the Qin which are musicians) and it just gets better from there
all in all i will say... go see this movie or better yet. Buy this movie BUT the region 3 one (need a region free dvd player if you are in the States).

Hopefully they show it in it's original language with subtitles. I REALLY hate dubbed movies now. hehe

edit: NM i see they gave it an R rating.

supposed to be a great martial arts film..but still funny.

I just watched it yesterday. It's an interesting movie. Though it's kind of strange/corny at some points. Most of the fight scenes are very good.

Kung Fu Hustle was great! Not as funny as some of his other films but the martial arts made up for it.
