Knock Sensor resistance values??

Been doing a bunch of searching, can't find the resistance values for the knock sensor on a 86.5 7mge..is it even in the tsrm?

It's not possible to test the resistance of it. It only has 1 wire.

You need to test the knock sensors using an oscilliscope

you can test it using voltage but its is not as reliable

If you have a knock sensor code its more likely its the wiring no the sensor itself.

The sensor case is the other wire, so it is possible to measure a resistance, but that would not be the normal way to test them as they are basically a microphone.

Basically, when hooked up to an O-scope, you're looking for voltage output when the sensor detects knocking sound in the 7khz range. You should be able to imitate that by tapping the block.
