Just painted my MKIV wheels....and a tip on painting wheels

Ill have pics up soon but i painted them bronze and left the very outer lip polished. It looks really good against the carbon fiber and artic white. Also, Im planning on an old school carbureted small block chevy swap or an LS1 for spring 2008. A tip to paint your wheels with the tires still on. Spread vaseline on the tires with a brush and paint away. The paint will dry over the vaseline and you can rinse it away after the paint dries with some warm water. Ill post some pics up tomorrow. Thanks for the tip about the wheels, i never knew that. And i'll support your swap because im a supra owner but personally id go with a 1jz or a 2jz swap instead.

Vaseline + paint = fish eyes, so be careful on that edge.

It's a lot easier to just buy a pack of index cards and shove them between the lip of the wheel and the tire. You won't get any over spray unless you're a tard.
