im not sure but your supposed to match them so you wont run into problems. sorry i didnt really help.

'89 isn't the same as 90 and '92. '89's change mid-year. You should always treat '89 cars as their own special bucket of bolts.

Early 89's often match 86.5-88 cars, even if they have gray plugs. Late '89s often match the 90-92's.

lies my 88.10 has grey plugs :p its a 89 update tooo
