I bought my Supra in Oct. of last year and this is a picture of it before I picked it up.

I was really excited that I had a car that was faster than my friends.

The first couple of days that I had it I washed it like 3 times then decided to finish stripping the interior because the previous owner did a partial job and it looked like crap.
Here it is after I washed it.

I did some basic maintenance and tried to figure out some of the things that the previous owner did to it. like missing vacuum lines and no power steering resevoir.

The paint on it was in pretty bad shape so I got ready to have it painted.

Now here it is:

I should be getting it painted in about two weeks so I will update it soon.




Since I have to wait for it to warm up to paint it I started with some weight reduction and transfer. I relocated the battery to the trunk and I took out all ac components and put in some new seats.

Sweet, looks similar to what was done to mine.
Rear interior stripped, repainted (but a shitty job. Wasn't even sanded down or anything, just sprayed over)
Whatcha doin to the engine bay?
Gunna be ready for Centrailia meet?

I have to look up the centrailia meet. : ) that would be a lot of fun. for the engine bay im looking to go for the 57 trim upgrade but i need some $$$. later on I'd like to go lexus/550. but again money is going to be a problem.

Ill get some pics of the battery relocation and the insulation being stripped out.

well I painted my car this weekend after having it sit in my garage for 3 months in primer. this was my first attempt at painting and I think it turned out ok in my opinion

I just picked up some new... well old and used, abused, and mistreated shoes for the supra....

yes I will need some 8mm spacers and some new front tires but for $85... I just couldn't pass on it.

damn! i like it alot. sounds like a nice little project to put u a little faster then everyone else cruising next to you on the roads. paint looks good.

what type of paint did u use?

i used a crossfire single stage enamel/urethayne mix. hopefully next time I paint it I will have more time to get it prepped and done completely.

my girlfriend wants me to have it ready for her prom so I had to bust balls to get it done quick.

ill take WAY more time next time and ill probably go base/clear next time to give it some more shine

yeah, i plan on painting my car here at some point. i cant do it my self. i dont have a booth or anything we'll see how that works out though.

justin: no I picked it up at B and B auto on francis and nevada. idk where it came from they said it was against the law to tell me the name of the last owner.

oh and it is a wrx bov thanks to the previous owner:3d_frown:

arvin: to answer your question. ... yes there is something coming but it cant happen until next summer, which sucks but I couldnt fall asleep last night because I kept thinking of all of the mods I would like to do

kinda weird, I know. but I don't think that Im the only one that dreams of the perfect supra : )

I will go ffim and new intercooler and pipes
57 trim ct26 from mdc or 935
new exhaust including high flow cat(gotta keep it somewhat legal) and 3 inch elbow/downpipe.

if I can afford it, I will go with 550's/lex but my dreams are already stacking up to about $1200

He is the only one silly enough to put a WRX BOV on the engine
I'll sell you my HKS Kit once I get my FFIM installed, I'm throwing a tial on it.
