Is the O2 sensor supposed to have a gasket?

I ordered this downpipe from Aaron at Driftmotion, and it didn't come with a gasket for the O2 sensor.

While taking the stock elbow off, I noticed that there wasn't a gasket between the O2 sensor and the stock turbo elbow. Is the O2 sensor supposed to have a gasket, or does it just bolt up the the exhaust without a gasket? I checked the TSRM, but it doesn't specify whether or not a gasket is used.

Yes, supposed to have a gasket. The stock style one is made a lot like the turbo to exhaust manifold one and not the crap steel and fiber sandwich of cheapies.

gasket is used. Also, make sure you dont over torque the sensor bolts as i had some brake on me and its a pita!

Buy studs for them, don't use bolts.
