Is the distributor O-ring same as CPS O-ring?

The CPS on a 7MGTE is a 7MGE distributor with out the secondary ignition part. Cap with rotor and wires. The rest is the same.

Oring #64213 @ Checker Oreilly auto parts. Just an FYI if you are rebuilding the CPS, the internal seal and bearing are also the same as a distributors' and are readily available from your local parts store or a bearing supply source. Just reference the numbers printed on the seal & bearing. Also Twos R Us sells a rebuild kit for about $23.00.

Is it usually that inside O-ring that starts leaking? Is there a way to replace that seal without going and drilling out the gear retaining pin? Or are those pins easy to locate locally?

thanks guys mine's just leaking from where the actual cps slides into the head, not the shaft
