OK
that looks like an official walbro too, not the knock off ones. what signs did you get when that thing crapped out? i too have a walbro myself and am kinda concern about the same thing happening to me now.

I can't seriously tell you any signs, The pump was running 1 or 2 hours when it took a shit, I would just start the car in winter to keep the battery charged.. I bought it from Aaron at Driftmotion & he only sells the real Walbro..

Yea a Denso pump will flow more then a walbro till ~ 70 psi of pressure, then the walbro starts to flow more.

If you run standard 45 psi fuel pressure thats 25 psi of boost (with a 1:1 regulator)

Plus the Denso is more reliable than the Walbro...

yeah, if this walbro fails.. in goes the denso.

I had one that failed too- even though mine failed in a strange way. Driving it regularly was fine but once i started boosting past 10psi the pump couldnt handle the extra pressure and just go completely lean. I could baby it to full throttle and it be okay; hammer it= straight to lean.

Um that sounds like an electrical issue..

That's scary!

What does one of these 280lph Denso pumps go for?
