Interior lights will not turn off

I'm an electrical idiot, so any help would be greatly appreciated. The interior lights - dome lights, door lights and the door ajar light in instrument panel - on my 89T stay on with the key removed and all doors closed. I've pulled the fuse to keep the battery from dying, which unfortunately also shuts down my clock and stereo. I've searched this forum and found plenty of threads regarding interior lights not coming on when doors are open, but nothing about lights not turning off.
The obvious thing that came to mind was the door switches. But before I started pulling those out (like I said, electrical idiot here) I was wondering if I should start somewhere else first? The common thing mentioned in the "lights won't come on" threads was a rivet or ground or something in the dome light itself. Could that same thing be the culprit in lights not turning off?

Looks like you might have a short to ground on one of the door switches.
With the doors closed,
Look for ground on pin 5 connector 1D of junction block 1 (LH door switch) Here http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=16
Look for ground on pin 5 connector 7A of junction block 7 (RH door switch) Here http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=21
Also pin 4 on 7C and pin 6 on 1L, that brings the RH switch signal from JB7 to JB1.
Or the Intergration relay might be bad http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=68

Well, miraculously this has fixed itself - at least temporarily. I put the fuse back in yesterday to go for a short ride and the interior lights remained off. So it fixed itself just as mysteriously and suddenly as it broke several weeks ago.
And while I'm certain that this isn't the last I'll see of this problem I'm going to let it go for now and start my investigation when/if the problem returns.
