Installing used Tein Coilovers

I bought a set of used tein coilovers from another member on the site.

It is currentyl set at the lowest setting - the bracket and seat lock are at the very bottom of the strut.

Before installing them onto my car, should i raise them? or just install them as is.

Any other tips are greatly appreciated.

I've never worked on coilovers before...

Yes, you should. If it's too high, no big deal. If it's too low, you'll mangle your fender liners on the tires. You should also clean the threads and make sure the locking rings rotate freely all the way up and down the threads.
