In Dash DVD player w/ 7" screen help

I am having an issue with the screen hitting my dash when I open the screen of my Head unit. I know there are others on here with the same style head units and was just wondering what you have done to fix this problem or if you even have this problem?

Car is in the shop at the moment getting a bunch of water leaks in the hatch area fixed so once I get it back I will have pics. But in the meantime just ask about whatever you are unclear about.

Does it not have an option to slide the screen in and out, along with tilting it?

I am unsure about the sliding in and out part but it does have a tilt feature. I'll have to look for a manual online for it as I bought it from a friend who decided he didn't want it after having it a week but never gave me the manual.

Definatly look into that, it would solve your problem.

you need to space it out from the dash more with custom brackets:
