sorry, I didnt get the 11 sec pass on tape but here is one of my qualifiers.
I ran a 12.3 @ 125 bogging the launch and missing 3rd. My trans is hurt and you can here how bad 3rd grinds when I down shift at the end. I was pairing up against a 550 hp celica but I wasnt concerned with racing him since it was a qualifier which is why I started well after the light. slip is as follows.

supra celica
r/t 1.46 .679
60" 2.209 2.124
330 5.473 5.894
1/8 8.288 8.640
mph 91.08 92.38
1000 10.491 10.847
1/4 12.323 12.750
mph 125.42 121.35

Sounded great :)

I know 9 parts of FA about Drag racing but it didn't seem to launch very hard?
I tried to launch it soft as Im on 17 in drag radials and it bogged. I got a much better launch on the next pass and the car got into the 11's but the clutch fried and I ended up pedaling it all the way down the track. I was getting worried about the clutch exploding from the heat since it was slipping so bad.

what did the celica run?
He ran a 12.7 @ 121 to my 12.3 @125 on that run. It was my first pass and was just a qualifying pass so I wasnt trying to cut a good light. I was more concerned with getting a good launch. That was the only pass that the clutch didnt slip that weekend. I dont even know where the boost was set and I still havent plugged in the lap top to check the logs. Its now time to rebuild the trans and get a better clutch. The exedy twin just isnt up to the task.

OO you delayed your launch real bad. I hope noone read that post before i edited it haha
Yeah, that was my first practice run right off the trailer that day. The 1.46 reaction time is a good indication of that. I was more concerned about practicing the launch rather than beating the person next to me.

I had that idea too late when i ran my MR2 for the first time, i went over the line and when i backed up the tree went off right away and i was forced to take off at like 1000 rpms. In retrospect i should have just waited and did a real launch, but it was adrenaline. Oh well.
