i just feel like i have to say this. My speedo really was off. i didnt realize it until a month or so later. but if you do the math 6,000rpm really is 163mph. plus its good info to have, you can figure out your theoretical top speed in any gear.

Basically you take your engine rpm, divide that by your 5th gear ratio(driveshaft rpm), divide that by your rear diff.(wheel rpm), multiply that by the circumferance of your tires in inches, divide by 12 to convert to feet(feet per min). then divde that by 5280ft(feet per mile), and mulitply that by 60 to get miles per hour.

so 6000/0.753/3.72X80.6"/12/5280X60=163.487

i just wanted to clear it up before flaming started.

i remeber when finding an srt4 that ran into the mid 13's was a fast srt4 and was impossible to find, now all i find are high 12sec, 13 flat ones.

Both those guys are firends of mine. the funny thing is after i raced him i couldnt get them away from me. they wanted to know everything about my supra. hell the guy in the black one actually bought one with the intent of doing a 1j swap lol. If you cant beat em', join em'
