Idle problems Please Help!

okay so the problem i am having is when i start the car up it's fine it idels @ 1000 but then after about 30 secs it begins to jump down and then just shuts off all together. also when your driving and you ned to down shift the car idels to low and shuts off, so i was just woundering does any one know what the problem is and a way to help fix this problem. thanks

Mine did this and it turned out to be the ISC hose that plugs into the accordian hose. It kept popping off. (homemade accordian hose)

I was having a similar problem myself, turned out I had numerous vacuum leaks, sealing those improved the idle alot. Though a number of other things were fixed at the same time (new fuel pressure regulator, new fuel rail, new spark plugs). So you might want to check any of those areas out actually. But check the vacuum first.
