Can I use the 2JZGTE IAC valve on the 1JZGTE. And does it matter if the 2JZ is turbo or not?

My simple IAC fix for those who want to know:

If it's stuck open, remove the tube going to it, and insert a cork (it fits perfectly into the rubber hose). Drill a hole in the cork and file it out to gain appropriate idle speed.

I can actually remove the big black round thing from the housing on the IAC valve for the 1JZ. Maybe I can make a 2JZ one fit in the 1JZ IAC houseing.

IIRC the 2jz is not removable. I THINK the 7ms is though.

i know because i dont have mine connected right now... cold starts are a bitch.. it wont idle until i keep it running for like 5 min.

pull a vac line.

I did that with my old honda beater I had, IAC went out, sealed off the IAC and just pulled a vacuum line off. Idled ~ 500 cold and 700 warm. It didn't have a/c so wasn't a huge deal (would of rigged some ghetto VSV for idle up if it had it).
