I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w-30 oil.

What kind of oil do you guys use in your engines? You guys think that it is worth it buying Mobil 1 synthetic oil. What do you guys recomend?

that's cold flow, you're too oldschool as modern oils are different than they where even 20 years ago...

I wouldn't call it either. I'd call it outright ignorance.

Supra - Q8 5w30
AYGO - Mobil1 5w40
IS220d - Mobil1 5w30
RX400h - Castrol Edge 0w40

10w-30 Castrol GTX. 210,000 + miles on this motor. The valve train ticks a little, but that's due to worn shims.

New motor: Castrol GTX 5w-30, after initial 500 mile break in with a non-detergent oil.
