the times we are all going through and the price of gas, my car is all put together and im ready to let it go. its never ran this good,

i was just informed that i need 50 post before i can post in the for sale section:3d_frown: so i thought i'd start this thread.

The car is faster than the dickens and looks very nice and you have $25,000 in recipts, So how much do you sell it for? i thought 16,000 was a good price so i put it on craigslist and all i have gottin is junk mail from people taking the time to write me bad things LOL like " are you Fu@#ing serious"? yeah, i dont know this is messed up. thoughts?

Andrew

Not to get you hopes down, but $16000 is a bit too much. Even thought you dumped 20K into the car, your not going to get 3/4ths of the money you put into it. Maybe 10K if your lucky, but I think that's still asking for alot. When you sell a car, you have to take a big lost. Personally, I think your better off parting out the after marketparts. Then try to get the car as close to stock as possible and sell the car that way.

What kind of MPG's are you getting ...... when i drive like i have a little sense i get about 320+ miles for one tank of gas. When i drive like i have no sense i get about 250-300miles from a tank

With my 97 Maxima i get 400+ miles on a tank of gas and it cost about $53 to fill her up. My mkiii takes about $60 to fill up. With my little 90 civic hatch i get 450 miles and it cost about $26 to fill up :) ...... I dont know why i dont drive that more often!

Where in Washington are you? I have a friend looking for a car and I'm trying to get him in a Supra of one form or another :)

Did I see you at Centralia? I'm pretty positive that car was there!

Best of luck selling it for the asking price. (i am not being sarcastic at all). At some point people have to realize how old our cars are and if its in the shape yours is in, they ought to be taken seriously just like any other old restored car.

i wouldnt take less than 13k for a car like that.

somebody will come along that loves the body, and wants the power of that 7m. and they'll buy it, its just going to take a LONG time...

it took me like 9 months to sell my eclipse, and even then i only got $5500. It was worth over $7000...

There is an asshole for every seat...but finding one willing to pay 16k for a mkII...even one that nice, is gonna be tough. I saw the car in person in Centrailia and it is definately nice all the way around. Good examples of mkII's just arent hard enough to find quite yet.

Good luck with the sale though.

stick to your guns. That is a fine example of an mkii. Forget the idiots saying what ever it is they think they need to share on your asking price. Time is your friend on this one!
