im assuming that the dark gauges are lit the entire time, day or night. otherwise it would be kinda retarded to have a gauge that your cant read.

If that's true, would you be able to switch the color when you turn on your headlights? Because I would like the white to be active while day-driving and the green to be on when I'm driving at night.

Theres a wire for each color on the back, the manual has instructions for how to wire it up based on what color you want lit, under which condition (lights on / off)
