just interested to know about the best way to tune an MKIII with the e-manage. I'm fairly new to cars but am keen to get into it. I've done a fair bit of research into fuel mapping and stuff like that but i wanna know more detail. The main reason is that currently my MKIII is having idling issues due to the TPS so i'm planning on taking it our and recalibrating it, as well as giving the Idle air valve and the throttle body a good clean out.
The car came with the e-manage pre-installed and it has been dynotuned a while ago when the previous owner had it. I know some of the maps are based on TPS values and i want to know if recalibrating it will affect these maps? Will I need to remap them? If so is there a way of performing a base tune for decent performance just on the road or will I have to take it to the dyno?
