How to install diaphram

Well, I figured out that my overboost problem was the perferated diaphram in the greddy type R wastegate. I just got the new diaphram and realized I have no clue how it goes on(well, maybe a clue). The diaphram is squished between two aluminum pieces. I don't think they are treaded, but pressed on. There is a bushing in the middle that the valve stem goes through. One side of the bushing is larger than the other and it looks like I can carefully knock the bushing out, which should release the two parts. Doing this without distorting the hole the valve stem goes through is the trick. I thought about putting the whole thing in the oven for a while to see if it would come off easier after the metal expanded. I haven't done anything yet.
Has anyone tried this??

As always. I made a simple thing as difficult as possible. The pieces came apart fairly easy with a little wiggling by hand. I just hope this solves the problem. I'll try to post a more worthy thread next time.
