How to adjust e-brake for an 88

or you need to tighten the slack in the lever cable. my '84's cable stretched out after 20yrs so i took the console apart and adjusted it. done.

Well I looked at them and they're pretty much worn down. Id say almost completely gone. Time to give elmhurst a call.

I think the only uniform adjustment for the cable is where it mounts to the e-brake handle.

Have you actually measured them? They are not thick to begin with. The minimum thickness for the shoe lining is 1mm (.039"). The standard new thickness is only 2.5mm (.098") so double check that unless you already have.
