To ensure we Americans never offend anyone -- particularly fanatics intent on killing us -- law enforcement and security screeners are not allowed to "profile" people in public places or security checkpoints. However, they will continue to perform random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year-old congressmen with metal hips and even Medal of Honor recipients. But targeting Middle Eastern male Islamists between the ages 17 and 40 constitutes "ethnic profiling."

Let's pause a moment and review....

In 2005, there were hundreds of casualties, men, women and children, killed by bombs in Jerusalem, Riyadh and Amman. These innocent civilians were murdered by: (a) Construction workers (b) Farmers (c) Christian missionaries (d) Middle Eastern Islamist males between the ages of 17 and 40.

In 2005, the city of Paris, and other European cities experienced an extended period of riots and destruction. The unrest was led by: (a) "Youth" (b) Soccer fans (c) Catholic nuns (d) Middle Eastern Islamist males between the ages of 17 and 40.

Since the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom, more than 2,500 Americans have been murdered by terrorists. 35,000 Iraqi men, women and children have also been murdered by terrorists. (d) Middle Eastern Islamist males between the ages of 17 and 40.

President George Bush said, "America is at war with Islamic fascists who will use any means to destroy those of us who love freedom, to hurt our nation." The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued an immediate objection to the President's reference to "Islamic fascists". Nihad Awad, executive director of CAIR protested, "We have to isolate these individuals because there is nothing in the Qu'ran or the Islamic faith that encourages people to be cruel or to be vicious or to be criminal. Muslims world wide know that for sure." In light of this objection, I am left to ponder why every Islamic leader in the U.S., and the world, does not publicly condemn every terror action being undertaken in the name of the god of Islam. Their silence is deafening...

Between 1970 and present, there were more than 60 other notable examples of terrorism perpetrated by Middle Eastern male Islamists between the ages 17 and 40, but we think you get the point. Singling out "Middle Eastern male Islamists between the ages 17 and 40" is not "ethnic profiling," it's "terrorist
profiling" -- acting on prolific evidence.

"Here is a simple truth: If our enemies lay down their arms, there will be no more war. But if Israel lays down its arms, there will be no more Israel. For the crux of the conflict is their desire to destroy us."

Yeah, seen this before. God knows I agree. But what can you do, you know?

Where I live, I have to deal with middle eastern islamic males that work at corner stores saying bin laden is their uncle and fuck America right in front of my face... And they do it just to piss us Americans off. Again, only God knows what I would like to do to them.

Well said, I agree 100% with you Aaron! I know a cpl guys of Mid-East descent & they would never say anything such as ct supra quoted. Not out of fear but just respect. Also from there own words they would not be offended if they were picked out & searched going into a Gov. bldg getting on a train or plane. Just as long as they were treated with respect & dignity. As pointed out above Muslims have been targeted in terrorist attacks as well. I actually don't think it would be "Profiling" to focus searches & questions on Middle Eastern males between the ages 17 and 40. If there was a major crime spree of bank robberies & the FBI had eyewitness descriptions & video of the perps they would stop, question & may detain anyone fitting the description of there clothing, build, hair &/or skin color. So what's the difference? Law enforcement/Feds have the description of the main perps. let them use it in a stern but dignified & respectful manor.

Steve: I searched for "terrorist" pics, My point was, they can look like anyone!!!

If there is enough hate in their heart to inflict damage on someone else, you will not know who to look for..

I think that second pic is of a female.

I hear ya.. Kinda making the same point I guess. I think your right bout the second pic. Something about the eyebrows. I still thank the same result should happen as posted in the Youtube link. Can't see it but the guy has a detonator in his right hand with thumb on button. Its a scene from Miami Vice movie but kind fit the topic.

Uhhh.... I still say screw 'em... If Americans were out blowing their country up I'd almost bet that we'd be getting cavity searches and all that good stuff before WE got on planes. America needs to stop being so pussified and trying to keep from pissing people off. They don't like it, they can GTFO

I saw on the news the other day... and it's kinda the same way...

"If a one armed man was out killing people I don't think anyone would pay much attention to anyone with two arms."

*edit*
2nd pic is of MDC.

Political correctness and the total lack of condemnation from muslims have made this problem much worse. I wish I could do something more than just talk about it here. But identifying a problem is the first step to a solution so hopefully we are doing some good here.

I fly all the time for work, and have before 911, and since. (Well, I was driving for awhile there untill flights came back on line..)

One "search" in particular comes to mind.
The company travel services bought me one way tickets, and that insures your going to get searched every time you see a TSA person. (When you go through the main security, then again at that time before you borded the plane..)
So I'm there with a couple from Iran. (I know some Farsi, and these two were Iranian.) The TSA person was Indian Sikth. (Spelling might be wrong there, no offense intended.) Anyway, I'm 3rd in line to be searched, and this guy is looking through the couples carry on bags. The Iranian guy is berating this TSA agent in Farsi to his wife, like this guy does not know any of the swear words he's calling him.. Finally the TSA guy looks up at them, says in Farsi something like, "I speak limited Farsi, and your about one more word from being thrown off this flight." What I catch is koochie and a few other words, but basicly get the drift... LOL And I laugh to myself.. well the lady turns to me, and says in english, you know what we were saying? So I told her that I lived in Iran for a few years as a young man, and that I still remember a few words, and it's funny how you seem to really remember the swear words in different languages...

The Iranian dude does not let up, and the TSA guy just says fine, your stuck here till we get a TSA agent who speaks Farsi to search your bags..

Turns to me, and says can I see your bag, looks through some of the pockets, main compartments and says I was fine, and good to go.

The couple from Iran never made it on that flight, and they pulled their bags off the plane... (Baggage handlers are never nice when they are searching for bags, and they don't really setup the loading ramps... so three bags come cartwheeling out from under the plane.. and crashed onto the ramp.. LOL

Let me tell you, when I was over in Iran, or Saudi, or Israel, or anywhere else in the world pretty much, you never make fun of, or berate the local security forces. That is just pretty crazy if you want to get anywhere in any of these places. (Including the USA, especially right after 911.)

As far as profiling goes, I can't believe it when little old ladies are being frisked for knitting needles and little tiny sewing sissors... Surely we are not so rediculous, yet I see it happening all the time.. (And the young Islamic guys are being let through checkpoints with minimal fuss because they are not making waves, and we don't want to appear to be singling them out for extra searches... )

Not sure what Manetta was thinking, but in a time of war, when your enemy is so comfortable blending into civillian dress and action. When your enemy clearly has no qualms about blowing themselves up along with women and children, we are fools to not profile and give extra searches to those who fit the description of a terrorist, or terrorist supporter. (That just happens to be Islamic men, teenagers to middle age is a good guide. Especially if they are of Saudi origin it appears.

Well, Weezl, that might happen if the terrorists ever do get ahold of, and use a nuke against the USA.

I belive that depending on the level of distruction and death caused by a nuke here on US soil, that we would either selectively nuke the source of the bomb, or colletively nuke many sources of Islamic Terrorism around the world...

Here's one..(not very pratical, but it would get the attention of Islam for sure.)
Tell the Jihadists that the next time they kill any American citizen or soldier, we will bomb the following....

Al Asq Mosque in Mecca.
Dome of the Rock.
Medina holy sites.
Continue on around the world with a bomb addressed for every site important to Muslems around the world. (Perhaps then they would speak up and say, HEY, WE DON'T SUPPORT TERRORISM!!!)

Basicly we will trade the security of their holy sites for their ability as a religion to control the crazy side of Islam...

Down side Is I don't see this getting better soon, and it's going to get much worse before we round the bend and radical Islam is put to bed again for a few hundred years.

First of all that wouldnt work, it would add more fuel to the fire. Secondly they would know we were full of shit, and lastly, Not only will this not end anytime soon, I personally dont think it will ever end (at least until an entire country gets nuked, and I truely hope that doesnt happen)

The US very much does profile. Just not in the US. The left drags every government entity to court via the ACLU so that the rights of non US citizens takes precedence over US citizens.
