Hello.
I bought a HKS Twin Power DLI type unit recently. I want to connect it to my 1JZ. It's second hand so I would like to know is there any way to check or measure something to find out is it working correctly? I have 1JZ swap in my Supra MK III and I don't know this engine, so I wont feel difference in response or anything like this. That's why I'm looking for a way to check it in a different way. I know there is a led on the side of unit, but flashing light doesn't confirm anything.

it's not gonna flash, it's just gonna be red. As far as checking if it works, it would be hard, since DLI only going to AMP the voltage at high RPM, so if you put your car on a dyno, and run it, you can check before and after voltage/ohms going to the coils. As long as you have it hooked up right and LED light is on, it should be working. If you have a crazy gap set on your plugs and running lots of boost, and/or have bad coils you are going to miss fire. Just my 2c.
Good luck.
