i dont own a supra, nut i know alot of people with supras use this computer set up, or so ive been told. im just looking for a bit of help.
i recently purchased an HKS PFC FCON and FCD combo specific to a Celica AllTrac whic is what i drive. the only thing is, it did not come with the proper small manifold pressure sensor.
Now, in HKS's set-up and tech articles on this computer, they say it comes with one that constantly monitors the manifold pressure. as far as i am aware, my car runs a secondary MAP sensor, but uses a primary MAF sensor for the fueling.
im just wondering, would it be possible to hack into the harness for my secondary MAP sensor, and use the signals coming from those readings, as a means to run the FCON? or is it absolutely nessecary to have the aftermarket pressure sensor?
any help on this is greatly appreciated. thanks alot guys.
