HKS FCON D-type E-type ROMs

I was wondering if you can use E-type ROMs in the older D-type FCONs?

A friend of mine has a D-type FCON but an E-type ROM and it seems to work ok but I don't know if it is correct or there is a potential problem?

The D-type FCON has the correct D-type map sensor.

I haven't seen any D-type ROMs for sale anywhere.

Good question, I have 2 FCONs, D and E type. One doesn't work, I wonder if it's because of the "wrong" type rom.

I'll have to do some swapping to see what happens when you switch them.

My friend has an E-type rom in a D-type F-con and it works but we don't know if it works correctly. The E-type and D-type F-cons have different map sensors.

That's the only difference I can find so far, is the map sensor difference.
