I apologize in advance,i am a newbie, but I have noticed that my supra seems to have a real high idle upon cold start ups, then comes down to normal levels, I just wanted to know if this is normal or if there is a way to fix this?

As long as it's not more than around 2500 and comes down to about 700 when warm it's normal. The EFI system is programmed to emulate the choke on a carburetor except it does it better and smarter.
That's perfectly normal. As jetjock said already, as long as it's not excessively high (above 2500rpm) and comes down to ~700rpm when warm, you're fine.
