Alright, so I've been searching quite a bit and found some helpful instructions in relation to the process of replacing the pressure line. My question is: I have the Driftmotion braided line, so, what differences will I encounter during installing it compared to an OEM style line? Will I need to keep anything from the OEM banjo bolt line to adapt the Driftmotion line to the pump, or will it bolt directly on? Is it essential to remove the air intake to get to the hose where it connects to the pump? Is it true that the steering rack HAS to be loosened for me to get the pressure line out, or is there any way to get around this?

Anything else I should know?

I'm getting most of my info from this page: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?137608-Power-Steering-Pressure-Hose/page2&highlight=power+steering

Just unbolt the old one and install the new one. Idk if the ac compressor is in the way or not on the 7m but it wasnt for the 1j. Don't need anything off the old line. Dm lines cones with everything.

Might have to remove the rack but if the new line can be installed without removing it just cut it out since it's bad anyways.

But could be a good time to replace the rack bushings as well.
