Hi, been visiting the forum for sometime now. I believe my account just got activated though so here's my introduction. Pick up a 89 supra for $700.00. Typical blown head gasket. It had been sitting for about 3 years prior to me picking it up and 3 years on a tropical island has done its damage with rust, brittle wires, etc. So changed the head gasket and then started on the issues that came up after that.
After clearing up all the trouble codes I came across a problem that I couldn't put my finger on. Took me about 6 months till I decided to drop the fuel tank and found out the problem. After changing the pump, I have now brought it back to close to stock form. I attached pictures of "before" and an "After" shot. Its definitely not done, but at least it is problem free motor wise. The body on the other hand is another task.
