Over the past several years, I've seen several threads discussing a quad round headlight setup and I've had many people ask me about mine. If there is enough interest, I'll consider having a Hella 90mm headlight bezel-mount setup massed produced. This bezel-mount will probably be made up of carbon fiber and steel bracketry.
To answer the first foreseeable question: Where are the pics?
Answer: I don't have pics of the bezel because it hasn't been made. All I have is the jig of the mount that is on my car.
The most important question of all: how much?
Answer: I already foresee people saying, "depending on the price, I'm in." The bezel-mount themselves, will not be cheap, but not "very" expensive. Please don't ask for a ballpark cost at this time because I don't have one. Bear these things in mind, below, when figuring the cost of this conversion:
*Hella 90mm headlights
*optional HID system. Halogen bulbs could be used.
*Installation and electrical work expense (if you're not doing your own labor), e.g., wiring the lights, modifying the headlight assembly in preparation of installing the lights, necessary adjustments to headlight assembly arms, etc..
*Lastly, I use the "Pivot" headlight controller with my setup to control the downward movement of the headlights when turned off. The "Pivot" is optional, depending on how you'll design the upward and downward movement process of the headlights.
Keeping these things in mind, altogether, this conversion will cost hundreds of dollars. If this project goes through, what I'll offer is the bezel-mount and basic setup writeup. Electrical work...you're on your own. This conversion may seem complex to some of you, but once you have all the parts, the process is actually very simple. If there are many interested buyers to make a group buy feasible, I'll have a complete product and manufacturing process built, then we'll go from there.
