The heater hose that comes out of the rear of the head with the funky bend that connects to a white plastic barb. Anybody know the part number or name for this hose? Can I get it at autozone/parts store.

That hose is a pain. The best place to get it is a toyota dealership. They have pretty cool computers that you can basicly point to the thing you need on then engine you need and they can pull it up and order it. That way you can be positive as well that it is the right bends etc. Hope this helps

Here is a link to the EPC page for the Heating & Air Conditioning - Water Piping. Just click on the number next to the hose that you are looking for and it will give you the Toyota part number. I would also recomend getting that part from a dealer or from Jay Marks at Champion Toyota 800-327-2087 just tell him what you need and he will hook you up.

Get it from the dealer. As hard as it is to get to that hose, why would you buy a cheap hose? That to me is like buying cheap paint. Here is THE place:

The Toyota dealership has been my only source for heater and bypass hoses for years. JAB89 is right. As hard as they are to get to, get the OE components.
