Headlight Lens Repair Question

My headlight lenses on my wife’s Supra are real dull & cloudy. I thought about replacing them but now I see that there are some restoration kits available. Has anybody tried anything like this?
Does it really work? Here’s a couple I was looking at:

Yes, they work great, I've done quite a few. The thing that most kits neglect to mention is that the OEM plastic bits are usually sprayed with a clear coat to slow down sun damage - these kits will peel that off, and it will look great for a month or two, then it will cloud *fast*.

So ideally, you need to work it over and then get it recoated to protect it against the sun.

Or upgrade to the glass EU spec headlights as even if they're recleared, all it takes is a nick in the clear to cause them to oxidize again.
