Head Removal from Block

I removed the valve covers,the bolts under the cams are they head bolts right?
Or does the gasket in between have the bolts under it?

Yes, the headbolts are under the cams, and are 10mm allen. Make sure you remove them in the REMOVAL order and make sure you do it in a few passes, not all at once!

Here's what you do:

1. Measure circumferance of arms.

2. If under 12" call friend to help.

3. Eat something, repeat.

if the block is out of the car, its do-able to install the head with one man. but its still a good idea to have an extra person

i did mine with just me... unless you count the arp's helping me line it up. hahaha

the head is pretty light...
