What are my options when it comes to Valve guides? I need a new set for the head at the machine shop Ive seen whats on ebay but cant find much else anyone ever redone the guides?? also the machine shop trys to avoid doing the guides and would rather put in over size valves and machine the guides accordingly I looked at the specs on the ferrea valves and the stem is 6mm according to the tsrm the factory valves are 5.97-5.985(intake) and the exhaust are 5.965-5.980 would a set of Ferrea valves solve my problem? I will find out from the shop how bad the guides are tommorow to see if the ferrea will do the trick but anyone have an answer to my first ?
