Head ports

Hi everyone i was rebulding my engine and I noticed some scratches in the intake ports. And I stared wondering maybe my head is ported. What do you guys think?

What can i do to fix this poor job?
I have never done porting so I am afraid that i will mess it even more.

Porting heads is an art, like most art forms its difficult to do well. Then again some people are just good at that sort of thing. If you interested in doing it for yourself, research what the tools would cost and decide from there. (proper tools are key)

I did some home porting on my own head and it turned out pretty good. It was a LOT of researching though, and I had access to some decent tools to get the job done. I put about 20 hours in to it, but I'm not a professional by any stretch.

Unfortunately the link I have saved in my archives for a reference article in porting isn't good anymore .
