i think my head is leaking anit freeze at the back. is that from the little squre peace the bolts on the back of the head? or where eles could it be coming from.

Agreed. There are actually two hoses back there, both of them are a bit of a pain in the ass to replace, but you might as well do them both while you are in there.
I also agree with grim and yes they are a bitch to replace and is a tight area so if you have small hands then you will be fine.
Before I replaced my HG mine started gushing oil from the back of the head (started a small fire) so I guess antifreeze leak at head gasket is possible but definitely check the two hoses at the back of the engine first.
its definatly the hoses, mine took a dump on the high way, i was pissed and its about a 30min job for the hose replacement if u have big hands,
