have any of you used a 255 DR for 600+whp?

Ok so ive searched for a solid answer about my question but havnt found one yet so ill ask. Have any of you used a 255 street drag radial with good traction for 600 whp? My rims that i have now are only a 8.5 inch. I really like these rims and the biggest tire i can get for Toyo R888 are 255. They are a straight up Drag radial, but i dont know if that will get me good enough traction with the 255.

I was wanting to get a 295 or somethin lol so im not to happy to only be getting a 255. Id only get the 255 if they work to save some time and get my car out there faster instead of waiting to buy rims. I will get some wider rims if needed, but i was wondering what you guys think on a 255 DR.

Have you looked into MT ET Streets? People who have ran drag radials then went to ET Streets say they're a whole different beast. They have better traction.

Yes Ive looked into MTs and I'd rather use these Toyos. From what I've heard they grip a whole lot better. I'm going with Toyo R888s and they are street drag radials. But either way have any of you used a MT DR in a 255? Doesn't matter what brand for my question, jw if you've used a 255 DR with success.

No one used a 255 radial at all? I guess I'll just look for some wider rims then.
