i called today to my local toyota dealer to see ( for random local arguments) about how much toyota would ask for a ct 26 turbo

of course after the arguemtns i herd betweent he to techs ont he other line abou thte price being a miss print the guy them answers the phone again laughing and says ha youll never believeit but its aroudn 2900 dollars and its gonnab e about 2 months till we get it. i said you relize i can get liek two amazing turbos for that price

nothing improtant i just wanted to telly ou that i tohught it was crazy

Christ! My locale Toyota wanted around $1200 canadian for a brand new head, which I thought was steep but fair. $2900 for a new turbo of that size is sheer madness ahahaaa.

I priced a ct26 at my local toyota stearlership about six months ago, and they wanted 2700.00 and told me that I wouldn't beat that price from any other toyota stealership. I told him I wouldn't be buying a new ct26 from him or any other toyota place. I had my wifes turbo upgraded for 500.00...............lol


As some of you already knows, she then kicked my ass down the track with it...........:bowdown:

Reminds me of when my mums volkswagen needed a new Pierburg 2E2 carburettor with Auto-choke. Went into the dealers part desk and asked for one, and they said they had two in stock. 'I've never sold one before though' said the bloke at the counter. Of course he hasnt, they were charging £950 for them :aigo:
